![]() ![]() Why, in order to tell a story, do we have to read a bunch of terminals? Does Bungie realise that stopping actual game play to spend up to ten minutes reading a Text wall of Doom (which is twice as long if you play it on legendary, bah!!) interferes with the flow and ruins the excitement? Perhaps to cut down on expensive cutscenes, or tell the story in same sane, understandable way? What a bunch of complete shite.Īnd, still no Sentinel action figure. What if you don't want to play as a spartan or an elite? Can I play as a Grunt? Or even (ghod forbid) a Yanme?īack to the campaign. In today's age of huge games and long levels, we get a game that looks pretty but really belongs in the 80's. Yet another Forerunner installation goes kaboomboom.Ĭampaign in short was deplorable. A Halo ring's super weapon is fired and blows up, just like in Halo 1. Yeah, my photoshop application screams in pain when I use it too much. A computer program is being tortured and goes rampant, but still manages to look like a naked hot chick. Gravemind lies to you just like he did in Halo 2. Guilty Spark betrays you just like he did in Halo 1. This level was conveniently removed from the game and we the players are left with boring, predictable levels in a rubbish campaign absolutely dripping with cliches. Then, once you'd killed this mini-boss, you were to hop into a Hornet, fly through the forest avoiding Sentinel attacks, and face the biggest enemy in the game - a monstrous Strato Sentinel. You were meant to rip the eyeball out of the Guardian Sentinel after you killed it, and use it as a weapon against its own kind! The best weapon to use against these powerful enemies was the red glowing eyeball of the dreaded Guardian Sentinel - the entity responsible for turning them against you! ![]() Yes, Sentinels are your enemies in this level, and they were supposed to be the Ark's version of Sentinel Majors. fancy that.īoth of these enemies were to appear in a forest level in Halo 3, featuring beautiful Forerunner architecture, lots and lots of pretty rainforest lol, and tons of Sentinels to fight.
